NAUGHTY NOVELLA NEEDS SOME NUANCE

DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING + COPY EDITING + PROOFREADING

This client was trying her hand at writing a romance novella, and asked me to do developmental editing, plus copy editing. I also threw in some proofreading. I couldn’t help it.

We made some sweeping changes to the structure, weeded out inconsistencies, and ended up with something folks who read romance novels would be into, I guess. It was the first book of that genre I had read. Set in NYC, it was begging for a cover ala Marilyn Monroe over the sidewalk grates, except, like, Fabio with a haircut and in a suit or something. What a trip. Also, per usual, super fun.
